Drawing office capacity by the job, without carrying it on the payroll.

Drawing office instruments on a dark slate bench, crossed by a narrow shaft of hard light: spring dividers throwing a long shadow, a steel rule catching a bright specular streak, a rolled drawing receding into shadow and an orange pencil lying at the edge of the light.

[SEC 03]Process

Four steps, all of them fixed at the quote

Nothing about scope, price or delivery format is left to be discovered halfway through the job.

  1. 01

    Scope

Send sketches, a sample part, scan data or an old drawing. Back comes a written scope, a fixed price and a lead time. No day rates, no open-ended hours.

  2. 02

    Model & draw

Work is built to your part numbering, title block and drawing standard. If none of that is written down, BS 8888 defaults apply and you are told which.

  3. 03

    Check

Every drawing is checked back against the model before release: dimension chains close, datums reflect how the part is fixtured, tolerances are achievable on your machines.

  4. 04

    Deliver

Native CAD, neutral formats (STEP AP214, IGES, DXF) and PDF drawings, named to your revision scheme so the file on the server matches the print at the machine.

A machined steel fixture under hard raking light: a row of milled fins throwing hard-edged shadows across a deep black background, with a single copper fastener seated in the flycut face of the block.

REF 02 · CNC MACHINING · ILLUSTRATIVE — NOT A CLIENT JOB

A second pair of eyes before the part reaches the machine, from someone who thinks in cutter diameters rather than CAD features.
