Accessibility statement
Last updated: 2 July 2026
Example CAD aims to make this website usable by as many people as possible, whatever technology or ability they bring to it. The target is conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.
01
Measures taken
- Semantic HTML with one logical heading order per page
- Full keyboard operability, with a visible focus indicator on every control
- Text contrast measured against WCAG AA: at least 4.5:1 for body text and 3:1 for large text
- Form fields with permanent visible labels, and errors that name both the field and the fix
- Animation suppressed when the browser reports a reduced-motion preference
- A skip-to-main-content link as the first focusable element on every page
02
Known limitations
The body typeface is monospaced. That is deliberate, and part of the site's technical design language, but it is less comfortable than a proportional face over long stretches of reading. Any content on this site is available as plain text by email on request.
